that was an awesome pdf ………the best till now .
about “the knowledge is in a way the enemy of creativity” , i think sometimes its’ the enemy sometimes it’s not ,it’s a double edged sword sometimes too much knowledge could kill creativity and act as a prison for ur thinking , but sometimes when u filter this knowledge it acts as the key to this prison – i mean u need the knowledge to break its limits
and about “creativity is dangerous for the practitioner and beneficial for the rest ” yes it is dangerous as it involves risks and failures but its one way or another beneficial also for the practitioner it really depends on the definition of failure
i recommend adding to the recommended watching “everything is a remix ” and David Kelley ted talk: How to build your creative confidence or writing a review about them anyway i think it could b worth watching while reading this pdf
Thanks Hazem, for your encouraging comments. Yes knowledge (low level knowledge) is the enemy of creativity. High knowledge is the opposite of it in that it allows you to see over the mountains. Yes, knoweldge is indeed a double edged sword. The point that is being made is that there is “nothing called creativity” with fundamental qualities. What is called creativity is all about risk ,knowledge and re-mixing with a bit of human madness thrown in. Many may not see it this way, but that does not matter.
Thanks for those references. I will include them in the revised version.
